FIELD
OF USE
FONGAL MTR is highly active against
fungi and alage developments which deteriorate paints,
putty film surface. Owing to its original formulation
completely heavy metals and phenolic derivatives free,
FONGAL MTR shows a very wide activity
spectrum which includes following micro-organisms
:
|
Fungi
Alternaria tenuis
Aspergillus niger
Aspergillus oryzae
Auerobasidium pullulans
Chaetomium globosum
Cladosporium cladosporioides
Epicoccum purpurascens
Fusarium graminearum
Penicillium funiculosum

ADVANTAGES
FONGAL MTR is a water dispersion, more concetrated
than the similar competitor products and has a very competitive
price.
FONGAL MTR's fungicidal activity spectrum
is very wide as it is based on an association of 2 complementary
fungicidal active ingredients and an algicidal one.
Owing
to its strenghened algicidal activity, FONGAL MTR
can be used with the same efficiency in the coatings whatever
the place where it will be applied, even in the area with
a lot of humidity as the tropical countries.
FONGAL MTR active ingredients are nearly
insoluble into water, so the product is no washable and therefore
has a long remanence for its fungicidal and algicidal activity.
FONGAL MTR's active ingredients are light
stable (no yellowing) and non volatil too.
FONGAL MTR can be used in a large pH area
from 4 to 11.
INDICATIVE
DOSAGE LEVELS
FONGAL MTR necessary dosage levels to protect
most of the formulations against algae and fungi are ranging
between 0,3% and 2% in weight of the total formulation to
be protected.
According
to our experience high PVC paints which don't
need a very long lasting protection can be protected at low
dosages levels (0.3-0.6%) while low PVC paints
which may require a very good protection need high dosage
levels (1%-2%).
In
any case, Progiven laboratories remain at your full disposal
to determine the optimal dosage level to protect your formulation
on a sample you would be prepared to send over.
