FIELD
OF USE
Water-based products are very often subjected to microbiological
degradations which are causing various drawbacks such as foul
odours, viscosity decreases, products, composition modifications,
molds apparition... All these problems are not only detrimental
to the product's appearance, but also to its technical properties.
BIOCIDE
K 10 SG is a powerful bactericide/fungicide, showing
a wide activity spectrum which allows the end user to avoid
these microbiological distrubances. It can be used in waterborne
systems such as paints and related products, glues, emulsions,
concrete additives... in a wide pH range (4 to 8.5).
BIOCIDE
K 10 SG active ingredients are homologated for contact
with foodstuffs according to the FDA and BGA regulations.
BIOCIDE
K 10 SG has the advantage to be solvent free.
INDICATIVE
DOSAGE LEVELS AND METHOD OF USE
BIOCIDE
K 10 SG should be used at dosage levels ranging from
0.1 to 0.2% in function of the weight of product to be protected.
BIOCIDE
K 10 SG can be added at any stage of the production
process. However, owing to the very small dosage level, it
is advisable if possible to incorporate it at the beginning
of the manufacturing process, so that an homogeneous repartition
into the product to be protected can be achieved.
Stability
BIOCIDE
K 10 SG is stable during storage, when stored in
cool and well-ventilated premises and when kept into closed
packagings.
when
product is stored into stainless steel tanks, the 316 L quality
is strongly recommended.
In
any case, Progiven laboratories remain at your full disposal
to determine the optimal dosage rate to be kept and check
its practical efficiency.
